One of the World stage design Market carts will be taken over by Moreish, a reckless and rambunctious installation where inhibitions are not on the menu.

Pull up a chair and be prepared for a playful audio-guided adventure with food at our dining table piled high with copious sweets and indulgent treats. Be prepared to make friends with a Mars bar or turn a Victoria sponge into a sculpture in a communal experience that explores our never more complicated relationship with food. No two audio guides are the same, leaving spectators to guess the extent to which each action is spontaneous or prescribed. A lip smacking installation that expresses how utterly confusing it is to feed ourselves nowadays, and how our anxieties and indulgences invisibly connect us.

Since premiering at the Bush Theatre in 2012, ‘Moreish’ has toured to Brighton, Inspired a Roundhouse Radio Show ( and been presented in a drained swimming pool. This September, Yve Blake brings a never-lusher edition of Moreish to the marketplace at WSD complete with brand new Costumes and Set items intricately decorated with recycled food packaging. Moreish’s re-design showcases contributions by and coming young Scenographers Philippa Brocklehurst, Alice Cousins and Clotilde De Verteuil and Joanna Louise.
