Mouth Projection
As Zero enters his home he is greeted by a verbal lashing from Mrs. Zero. A video close up of her mouth spewing the monologue is the main light source, symbolizing the verbal beat down Zero receives each night...
The Office
A constantly rotating set allowed projections of numbers to creep all over the set pieces and characters.
Death by Strobe
Zero finally snaps and murders his boss in a carefully choreographed dance between the chorus and characters, all under a progressive strobe. The first single flashes signified Zero's moments of breaking, and gradually took over the lighting syntax.
The Chorus
The surreal and masked Chorus were omnipresent in the stage picture, moving in and out of shadows creating by heavy projection and breakup.
Zero on Trial
Heavy haze and rings of light created a "jail cell" as Zero rotated through the beams, all the while pleading his case to the chorus of "judges".
In the Machine
Zero confronts his fate as the projections and lighting distort and reveal the final judgement.
