Project description:
The open-air project: "Theatre on the Barge - The Possible City” , was located on the rivers in two cities: Gdansk and Tczew, where barge sailed after.
It was a public finale etude of an interdisciplinary workshops for a students from artistic schools during 12th Jozef Szajna International Festival “ZDARZENIA”.
The starting point for a group of students and artists was the eternal coexistence of the city and the man with water. The presentation was composed with several views of the daily life of the imaginary city on water. The stage was located on the barge.
The viewers on the other side of the river bank embankment could cropped the images with camera, binoculars or even a telescope. Unreal, imaginary, inaccesible was available for a moment at his fingertips.
