Project description:
Ladies and gentlemen, the show is about start. Prepare your heart, open the mind, relax the body and warm the muscles of the imagination ...
Acrobats and clowns, their fate writes the beauty and the precariousness of the creative adventure ... the irony of existence on his nose.Far from the spotlights of Las Vegas and the big world circuits, small circuses lacking sophisticated resources or extravagant takings, pass through the heart of Brazil, to parts off limits to the bigger ones. They exist on the margins of society eschewing the means of mass communication. Despite this they form vital networks that give a voice to diverse social spheres and enrich the imagination of many. They are forums where fear turns to laughter in a moment, where the real and the fantastic dance in the arena, where the mundanity of the everyday is expelled and in its place another presence and sense of fellowship is felt. This project is a celebration of this kind of art; it drifts between memory and presence.
