Puppetry
This section of Scenofest explored how puppetry in both simple and sophisticated forms is a powerful tool for moving an audience, both on its own and within other disciplines like dance, opera, carnival, site-specific events, community and young people’s theatre. The puppetry programme of events also examined the current adoption of techniques in robotics, digital performance and object theatre.

How is puppetry taught in design and performance?
Increasingly, sophisticated engineering is being used in the creation of puppets. How does this affect the narrative of emotion in puppetry?
