Against Again Troupe: ALL THAT’S LEFT TO HAPPEN IS SOME DEATHS
Tues 10 Sept 13.30 and 18.30 Caird Studio
This was a group of 3 short performances, which focus on the unifying theme of the ‘non-presence’ of the performer. These three site-specific and micro-theatrical works changed and evolved as the artists adapt to different alternative venues. As the audience and artists collectively experienced this absence through the passage of time, it was as though we are experiencing the death of moments gone by.
The Against Again Troupe is a Taiwan-based theatre troupe that has been working with site-specific theatre and micro-theatre since their founding in 2002. They draw heavily on the talents of their designers.
A performance-exhibition project originally curated by artistic director Sze-nung Huang.
