Yaron Abulafia is creating worldwide interest in his Light as Art approach to scenography. Having begun his career as a scenographer in Tel Aviv, he became interested in how light could be used as a painter or sculptor. He lives in Amsterdam, works in Europe and frequently in the UK. Parallel to his practical work, he is completing a PhD Research into Light as Art, and a book is planned. Abulafia works in dance and drama successfully creating significant environments combining light and space.
