Making Your Computer See: The use of Interactive Projection and Infrared Technology
Sun 8 Sept 9.30 - 11.00 Rowe Beddoe studio
This was a presentation of interactive projected video landscapes as a reactive stage for experimental performance with examples of combining infrared tracking, bespoke computer software and carefully calibrated video projectors. Examples from many theatre and dance productions were presented that include visually resonant spaces, simplistic ceiling mounted downward facing projection and a merging of multiple projections, lights and cameras coordinated live by creating a visually bended space, folding paper floors, blowing sands and melting ice.
This event was open to all.
